Investigative case file | Peptide supply chain
Preventive alert about alleged fraudulent practices in the sale of peptides through TikTok and WhatsApp.
Can you verify who is really behind a peptide supplier on TikTok?
This file gathers business profiles, WhatsApp contacts, advertising claims and documents provided during a commercial transaction disputed by a buyer.
Records
Labels saved in a phone address book are written by whoever saves the contact. They do not prove the person publicly presented themselves under those names.

The case
How a successful trial shipment can create trust before a supplier pressures a buyer into larger orders and changes the agreed payment terms.
The first successful shipment
A trial order reportedly arrives quickly.
The wholesale opportunity
The seller introduces wholesale prices and larger volumes.
The initial payment understanding
50% on confirmation, 50% later — per the buyer and quotation EV-17. Full contract clauses still to be confirmed.
The corporate credentials
License image, signed-looking memorandum with seal, and a contact claiming to be a manager.
The warehouse explanation
Nancy claims two dispatch attempts were rejected and cites a USD 5,000 fully paid threshold.
The conditional exception
The USD 3,000 order can proceed at wholesale price only with 100% advance payment.
The dispute
The buyer questions the new terms and cites the signed agreement; Nancy cites other customers' defaults and claims 99% pay upfront.
The memorandum provides for independent testing and a facility audit before any large order. Its authenticity and link to the registered company are unverified.

Chapter 01 · A manager enters the conversation

DOCUMENTARY CONSISTENCY CONFIRMED · ACTUAL LINK TO THE SELLER UNVERIFIED
A matching code across documents does not prove the registered company is the seller. A public license can be copied by third parties. Check gsxt.gov.cn and contact the company through independent channels.
Multiple commercial faces
The record shows not one channel but several presentation styles that make the operation look organized and legitimate. This is an observed pattern, not proof that every brand is the same legal entity.
Professional appearance as a trust signal
Quotation EV-17 (No. JT-20261012-HH02, issued as Shenzhen Jiangtai / 深圳佳肽, contact “Nancy”) is bilingual, with 28 products by category, totals and payment terms. It signals internal structure, a mature catalog and seriousness.
Caution
A polished quotation format does not by itself verify the seller's legal identity, the contact's authority or the enforceability of the transaction. Note: “Jiangtai” on the quotation differs from “Jiatai” on the license.
The more professional the sales presentation appears, the more important it becomes to verify who is actually contracting, shipping and receiving payment.

After a successful first shipment, the supplier demands in writing full advance payment on a larger wholesale order. Message times are visible; the exact calendar date is not established by the screenshots.
EV-14 · Nancy Jiantai Peptidos Nuevos · 1:04 a.m.
“We have attempted to withdraw the products from the warehouse twice, but the requests were rejected.”
“The wholesale price for the black model applies only to orders of $5,000 or more, paid in full.”
“…the warehouse has agreed to let us process this $3,000 order at the wholesale price for the black model, provided that full payment is made upfront.”
Buyer's reply: “What black model are you talking about??”. The meaning of “black model” remains unresolved. The warehouse and the two rejections are unverified.
EV-15 · Nancy Jiantai Peptidos Nuevos · 1:11–1:12 a.m.
“Darling, let me discuss this with our superior, Mr. Wu, and I'll get back to you later.”
“You should be aware that you have received our product and that it is entirely genuine and reliable.”
MANAGEMENT RELATIONSHIP CLAIMED IN MESSAGES: links to EV-12 (Sep 14, 2026). The buyer had written “This sounds like a scam to me now” — his suspicion, not a finding. “Genuine” is the seller's claim, not proof of purity.
EV-16 · Nancy Jiantai Peptidos Nuevos · 1:13 a.m.
“The issue now is that the warehouse is concerned about the prepayment arrangement, as collecting the balance payment can be difficult; indeed, some customers have failed to pay the remaining balance.”
“…especially since 99% of our customers pay the full amount upfront.”
It does not establish that 99% pay upfront, that others defaulted or that a warehouse imposed the rule. The buyer replies citing a signed agreement (see EV-11; exact clauses require the full contract).
EV-10 · EV-15
“You should be aware that you have received our product and that it is entirely genuine and reliable.”
The first delivery created a positive experience. In the later dispute, the supplier explicitly cited it to reinforce confidence in the products. This is relevant to the buyer's concern about a trial-order trust-building pattern.
There is no evidence the first delivery was intentionally planned as part of a fraud. “Genuine and reliable” is the seller's claim, not proof of quality or purity.
Terms of the new order · USD 3,000
Quotation EV-17 (Oct 12, 2026, contact “Nancy”) states: initial 50% in USDT on order confirmation, final 50% 5 business days later. Full contract clauses still to be confirmed.
Concerns the new order, not the completed trial shipment. No USD 5,000 payment is suggested to have been made.
Documented in screenshot
USD 5,000 threshold, USD 3,000 exception, 100% upfront demand.
Corroborated across screenshots
“Mr. Wu” called a superior; earlier introduced himself as Nancy's manager.
Reported by buyer
Speed of first shipment. The 50/50 terms also appear in writing on quotation EV-17.
Unverified supplier claims
Warehouse rejections, other customers' defaults, the 99% figure.
Not established
Criminal fraud, intent, contacts' legal authority, document authenticity.
A successful first transaction does not guarantee that the supplier will honor the payment conditions of the next one.
Analysis
Three different spellings: “Jiantai”, “Jiangtai” and “Jiatai”.
US warehouse and California are claimed, while the main contact and proforma point to China.
Several successive contact numbers (“New Number”, “Nueva”).
Profile images that look like stock or generated photography.
Proforma with an “Advance Payment” field: payment before shipping.
“Research use only” products sold to consumers via social media.
These elements are warning signs, not proof of wrongdoing. Each may have a legitimate explanation.
Guide
Look up the registration number in the official registry (China: gsxt.gov.cn) and confirm the name matches exactly (e.g. Jiatai ≠ Jiangtai).
Confirm the document brand, the contracting entity and the payment recipient are the same.
Compare logos, names, emails, signatures and seals across every document.
Put payment terms in a signed contract and require any change to be in writing and agreed by both sides.
A successful first order is not a guarantee: keep the same protections on later orders.
Be wary if, after initial trust, the supplier demands 100% upfront citing warehouses, thresholds or other customers' defaults.
If a “manager” appears, verify them through an official company channel, not the same chat.
Avoid irreversible payments (USDT, crypto, wires). Prefer buyer-protected methods or escrow.
Ask for a third-party certificate of analysis (COA) and verify it directly with the lab.
Reverse-search the profile, “lab” and staff photos.
Check your country's health rules: many peptides are not approved for human use.
